“This is a very light and fluffy book that, while predictable, is endearing. I've found that recently contemporary romance and chick lit have caused me to have a generally negative attitude about relationships, about the frequency of affairs and the undesirable (to me) "perfect" relationships. This book actually was uplifting and made me feel more loving and solid in my own relationship to my partner. It made me grateful for the person he is. So, while the story is a little trite and can basically be scripted by just reading the back cover, it was well worth the read because of the positive attitude toward love that I was left feeling.
Having said all that, the ending requires deep suspension of belief (hello, she didn't know who he is?). Elaine, though wonderful is also a little unbelievable as well.”
