I think this book will challenge many. I found it an intoxicating & wonderous journey. Its has a multi-dimensional matrix-like sting in its tail, which will send some people dizzy with dewlight & awe or drained & rather flumaxxed by its somewhat surreal nature. Still, l enjoyed it.

I know *Famished Road* was Okri's big success story, but that is not to say this book isn't worth reading. It's my current pet theory that Kate Bush must have been inspired to write *How to be Invisible*...
