I have seen this book on many shelfari shelfs, now I know why it is there. It is a sad story, yet up-lifting. The cruelty and unkindness revealed are almost unspeakable, yet hope and goodness also fill the pages. Great courage also is here. Courage with goodness is a powerful force. A story I will long remember.

I've heard a lot about this book. I think it's about different types in afghanistan, mainly hazaraz, and all the crashes and problems they suffer by other types. I've just heard that.
