- Mr. Moscovitz: dirtbag... ran flower making shop, he hires women, then sleeps with them, and cheats them out of their money
- Mr. Garoff: Gussie's father, Rose and Maureen rent a space to live off of him
- Elsa: Rose's aunt, married to Rose's Uncle Patrick, is a brat, and treats the Nolan's terribly
- Margaret Rose: American name is Rose, she is determined to become an American, and have her own home and job
- Joseph: Rose's baby brother, was forced to be sent back to Ireland because he wasn't allowed into the country with his disease.
- Da: Rose's father, supports the family, goes back to Ireland with Joseph, never really stepped on American soil.
- Rose Klein: Rose's friend, meets her at the Triangle Shirt-waist Factory, dies in the fire.
- Bridget: Rose's other younger sister, goes back with Rose's Ma because Ma can't stand America
- Trudy: Elsa and Uncle Patrick's daughter, complains about the Rose's family because they're immigrants, a real brat like her mother.
