The style of writing just doesn't flow; it's awkward and clunky, and doesn't seem to belong to the character. I also keep picturing Morgan Freeman as Cross, and that's just not the right character for this guy's character in my own mind. I liked the story line, but Cross is a weird character I have a hard time liking....1 star each for crazy Jack and psycho Jill; no stars for the disturbed Truth Killer kid, "Nobody". Loved the idea of a government conspiracy, though.

“I did not quite enjoy this book as I did the others.. Perhaps because there was so much young children dying. Although it is good to read the beginning books of Alex Cross. You understand the main charater better.”
