“Originally published as "Virgin", this is one of Patterson's earliest works. Whilst their are hallmarks of the style that has won him many readers, if this was the only Patterson book I'd read, I don't think I'd read any more.
It's just so tedious and vacuous. If you were tempted to read it, read something else. And don't start your Patterson adventures here. The worst of his books I've read, and one of the worst books I've read for a while. At least it's over now. ”
