This was my first time reading James Patterson. After some urging from a co- worker of mine, I went to the library and I was pleasantly surprised! I will definitely bw reading more of Patterson's books.

It's actually the only book of his that I've read, other than the full Maximum Ride series, so I enjoyed it. I don't really have the proper gamut of his work to judge it against, though, I suppose.

It was very predictable I was not that impressed. I actually think his best work outside of the Cross series are the 2 books with the bird children.

Honeymoon was good, but I thought Lifeguard was one of Patterson's best (that's not from a series).
