I read this book on my plane ride to Miami, Florida in April 2008. I usually go to sleep on planes, but I kept my eye open for this book. I never wanted to set the book down, and I finished in 3 days. Right then and there I developed an understanding of how people can do nothing else, but read.

If it were possible to give this book less than 1 star I certainly would. Pattrson's series has become predictable. mundance, flat and one dimensional. The constant "cliff hanger" at the end is the mental equivalent of a bijoux serial without the camp to make it enjoyable.

Loved this book, but then again its a James Patterson book. I love anything thats written by him, especially the Alex Cross series...The women's murder club is also my favorite, not to sure about the Maximum ride series.

    Greetings andie,
All of the Alex Cross series are page turners! I hope you read all of them. . .you won't find it has been wasted time. I marvel at Patterson's ability to envision and write so many books involving the same character and crime theme.

A true page turner from start to finish. Short chapters make for great stopping points in a busy day. Fast paced and suspensful, not a dull moment to be had. Follwing it up with Double Cross.

The story has its usual twists and turns, especially at the end, and kept me turning the pages to see how it would all play out.
