Amazing book! Took me forever to read, but good job Irving Stone! The last paragraph might be my favorite piece of writing ever.

I never actually finished this. I was going to read it in high school... Got partway through and put it down. It was dull for the most part and had several passages that were unnecessary and odd. As gross as it may sound, I did enjoy the parts where Michelangelo dissected the bodies. That was actually somewhat fasinating and insightful.
