I rated this book for four stars because I liked that Carylon had a boy side and a girly side. I also liked and thought that it was funny that Carylon made a guide to survive being a girl, but I felt bad that she always wanted to be a boy.You could see some of Carylon's girly side when her crush Charlie came around. But I also didn't like the book because sometimes the book skipped and jumped around and just didn't make sense.

Carolyn is your typical tomboy. Short hair, most of the time wears guy clothes, has guy friends. You'd think she's really cool, but apparently, she thinks being a girl is stupid. Carolyn thinks that if a girl has long hair, she likes to play dolls. Like, for example, Prunella Hilbert. Now, you probably don't think Prunella Hilbert is 'normal.' To Carolyn, she's just a weird girl who doesn't come out and play like everybody in the neighborhood, but instead, stays in her room and plays with her dolls. I haven't gotten very far into the book yet, but I'm up to the part where Allen and his friend crash the Moyers' new station wagon.
