Well, it's actually hard to "rate" this book as a 4. By 4, I mean, I'm glad I read it, it was interesting, and important. 4 does not necessarily mean that it is a GOOD book. In fact, it is manipulative, sad, revealing, and a little scary. It definitely gave me a lot of insight into the minds of leaders who appear to something other than they are, and to people to whom the end justify the means. Ethics and pure motives are missing in this book full of advice on how to be a "great" leader. And frankly, I find Machiavelli to be untrustworthy, since he is probably following his own advice to appear in the best light possible.

Everyone should read it. I'm not sure anyone will "like" it. But it should be read.
