  “Good book--love books about 'growing up' but didn't really need all of the details I got in parts of this book. I was rooting for the main character and felt a bit let down by the ending--but did enjoy the read and flew through this one pretty quickly. ”

  “I'm a little biased when it comes to this book, simply because the author lives here in Great Falls, and this book is set in Great Falls. There was a great thrill involved in reading and recognizing locations and personality types. It's a coming-of-age story about an awkward teenager trying to maintain a sense of self amidst the meddlings of men and boys, including her often absent father and horny teenaged boys. It gets a bit graphic at times, but I felt that Fromm did a great job of accurately portraying a teenaged girl. More than once, I felt a little violated, like he knew my secret female language. ”
