“Here's a colossal waste of time! Despite Donaldson's pretty prose, he can't manage to pull the Thomas Covenant series out of the gutter. If I had to hear the protagonist whine one more time about the (curable) disease he shows no signs of having, I'd kill myself. The action was ok, the story slow and the main character irritating.”
