When I put a review of this on Amazon it got two negative votes, I guess from cyber punk geek types, almost immediately. Ok, I found it hard to understand the techno parts but this is so stylish and would make a great film by Ridley Scott. Is that OK ? I really liked this book, guys, and girls.

The key to writing cyberpunk or near-future dystopian fiction? Impenetrable jargon or slang spoken by almost robotic (because it's sci-fi) characters. Let that simmer for about 200 pages until sort-of-plot begins to take shape and then finish the thing up before page 250.

Es bueno. Tarda un poco en arrancar.

I've read this but I genuinely don't remember it. What I do remember is being disappointed that it didn't live up to Neuromancer.

Not the easiest of reads but that's one of the great things about Gibson, his books force you r to sit up and pay attention or they will leave you in the dust.

I think this was my favorite of the trilogy. Have read it multiple times over the years.

Even more gritty than Neuromancer, a feat I wouldn't have imagined possible. As with all good science fiction, it never really answers most of the questions it raises, merely sparks the imagination. Gibson weaves three stories together in a manner that becomes clear and much more furious towards the conclusion of the book. The last 50 pages simply flew by.

Future Vision - A continuing part of the cyberpunk vision of the future by Gibson. A good story, well crafted.

I had difficulty getting into this - it's full of so much jargon and futuristic slang that it tends to spoil the story - which is not all that exciting anyway. Not his best effort.
