“I picked up this amazing collection of shortstories out of the bargain bin, and I'm so glad I did. The stories are poignant, eerie and suspenseful, an equisite mix of science, humanity and fable. Richard Selzer, MD, has an amazing insight into and compassion for people and their strangeness. I highly recommend this book.”
