“I'm a 63 year old woman who just finished the book and I remember very little sex or swearing. I remember a very long, very dense book. It took me a long time, but it was worth it for me. I am interested in colonization of space and this was it in spades. Consistency was not his strong suit. He seemed to be throwing in some things he'd been thinking about for awhile, not because it advanced the plot, but because he could fit it in. A lot of interesting ideas and an interesting examination of the idea of extended life spans. ”
“I finished reading this book a last week. While it's a great book that is worth reading, Robinson could tone down the sexual innuindos and tone down the swearing as well. It detracts from the story.”
