“Hmmm. What can I say about this one? Eragon was fun, so I started Eldest because I was interested in the characters' fates. But as much as I loved the first book in the series, I have to admit that so far, this one isn't as captivating for me. I love the interaction between Arya and Eragon; Isn't forbidden love always interesting? And the parts about Roran and the villagers are quite exciting too. But I not fond of the way that the story jumps from one character's point of view to another's. In most books, this creates cliff-hanger after cliff-hanger, urging me to keep reading. But in this story, I find myself just getting into a certain piece of the story, and then suddenly, I'm bored again when it switches. I don't know, maybe I'm just distracted right now, but whatever the case, I'll finish the book and probably the series.”
