Didn’t Like It“I've had this book sitting on my bookshelf for about three or more years. I read and reread about four chapters, and can't get passed anymore pages. Hopefully later on I'll try again...” see full review » see other reviews » |
“I write and play music, so I could definitely relate to this book, even down to the beating of the drums/descriptions of the sounds in the book. Good characters, real-to-life scenarios they are placed in as well. Even if you dont play music, one can relate to the characters, their struggles, their triumphs and failures as well.”

The begining was kind of slow but as i continued to read i start to get into it more. It really does explain reality. In the end i cried because it was so good. I reread it all the time. It was about the two friends who grew up together and one of them became a big time star singer and his best friend was his manager. As they got deeper in the business they got caught up in the fame and went against their whole beliefs that they were raised off of. In the end the singer gets killed and his best friend decides to stop managing. ”
