“Holy poop fantastic. I was worried that it wouldn't live up to its hype and that watching the show would ruin it for me. No. Not even a bit. Seen the show? Great! Read the book. Watching the show only minimally affected my enjoyment of the book. It's not that the book is so much better or any other standard trope. It's that there's no way that there's no way that 10 1-hour episodes can even begin to convey the breadth of this universe, the motivations of the characters, and the depth of the story. My only worry now is that I'll catch up and be stuck waiting for years with millions of others for him to release the 6th book, and then years more waiting for the conclusion.”
