As Harry returns to Hogwartz once again for his 2nd year he ignores the warnings that told him to not return back to the school. As he returns he finds out that there are mysterious attacks and harry can't escape the voice that's haunting him. One day harry wonders upon a black notebook what belongs to Tom Riddle. Many of his classmates including his best friend Hermione becomes bewitched by an unknown creature. As Harry reads the journal he has flash backs about that one moment in time, which helps him better figure out who Tom Riddle was. Once Hermione becomes bewitched he tries to get to the bottom of it all. He finds a secret chamber in which he encounters a basilisk. He gets help from Dumbledoor's phoenix whom blinds the basilisk. Now that its blind its hearing is enhanced, and Harry tries to escape from it to try to save Jenny. He finds jenny pale on the ground and he sees the notebook beside her. Tom riddle had tricked her into going into the chamber. The basilisk reappears along side with Tom Riddle. harry prepares to fight the basilisk and he sees a sword appear from the hat that he dropped that the Phoenix left him. harry remembers that he was once told that the sword will only appear for a true Giffendor. As harry fights the animal, he kills it with a stab to the head and its tooth is jabbed into his arm. The venom flows through Harry's veins and he now has little time to live. tom Riddle reveals to harry that he is Voltermolt. Harry stabs the notebook which kills Tom Riddle, and harry seems to think that he too killed Votlermolt. but He's happy to find that Jenny is awake and well, she takes care of harry and they both get out of the Chamber.
I enjoyed reading this book, I'm sorry for spoiling the end of the book. I recommend this book to everyone.”

“I think that Harry potter and the chamber of secrets was one of the better books in the Harry Potter series. This book was about Harry Potter and how he tries to figure out who opened the chamber of secrets before the school has to close. In the end Harry closes the chamber. This book was very good.”
