I really enjoy this whole series which is set in a small town in Minnesota where nothing bad ever happens--except when a dead body is found in every single book! Clever, witty books with a strong, smart woman who is not perfectly built. Cookie recipes in every book.

Enjoyable book--along the lines of Stephanie Plum with Norm and Mike in place of Tony and RangeMan.

This is the first book I've read by Joanne Fluke. It has begun as a very fun read.
I enjoyed reading this book. It is an easy read combining murder and desserts. Actually took me time to realize who committed the murder.

yet another mystery series, this one a Minnesota version of Diane Mott Davidson's catering series. This one has for its detective a cookie shop owner; recipes here, too. Oh, and a Minnesota version of Grandma Moser from the Stephanie Plum mysteries.

Something about these books make them very readable to me. The heroine isn't all that smart, though she thinks she really is. She's still likable, though. I'll probably read the rest of what my library has of these because I'm enjoying them as some easy reads, while I still don't LOVE them and see their man flaws. /shrug

This was another good addition to the series. I was hoping she would make a decision about Mike and Norman. Recipes sound good.
