Besides the last book this was my favorite. I think it was very interesting and challenged Harry's courage to stand up to Sirius Black, though in the end proved to be harmless.

This is where Harry Potter finally started to take off. This book changed everything the Potter-verse was doing. Finally, dark storylines, dark characters, and the direction is set. Looking back on this book, you can see that this is where the finale started. This is where the saga of Harry Potter turned from child books to legendary books.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is my second favorite of the Harry Potter series because I love learning about all the background contained in the story. I love the story of the Marauders and the map, the friendship developed between Harry and Professor Lupin, (***spoiler***) and the sense of family he gains with Sirius.

My most favourite Harry Potter book! Obviously because the Marauders are introduced here and Lupin is such a cool character! Sirius is still a bit vicious and angsty here (quite unlike his portrayal in book 5) but you gotta love him. There is not a single boring page in this book. Yay to Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs!

Yeah, I'm an adult and at first I didn't see what they Harry Potter hype was all about. After finally buying one at Sam's on sale after it had been out a while, I became a Harry Potter junkie. I devour them as the come out (but I don't wait in line at midnight at Wal-Mart, I have too much dignity for that - I go the next day) and look forward to the next one. Great series.

I'd review each of these separately, but what difference does it make if one is slightly better, or worse than the other? You're either gonna read them all, or none of them. A little variation in story quality from one to another isn't going to send most Harry Potter fans running from one or the other of the books.

I will say though, this was my favorite so far...
