Key Lime Pie Murder (Hannah Swensen Mysteries (Hardcover))

by Joanne Fluke

It promises to be a busy week for Hannah Swensen. Not only is she whipping up treats for the chamber of commerce booth at the fair; she's also judging the baking contest; acting as a magician's assistant for her business partner's husband; trying to coax Moishe, her previously rapacious feline, to end his hunger strike, and performing her own private carnival act by juggling the demands of her... I really loved these murder mysteries when I began reading them but now they all seem to follow the same pattern. Not much original in this one. Not sure I will buy any more of them.

This book is amazing! I like everything about it! The fact that it has several recipies in it also gives it a few extra brownie points! :) The title makes it sound a little odd, but it is not gruesome, strange, or anything like that.

As usual, I really enjoyed my reading adventure with the heroine Hannah Swensen. Joanne Fluke's novels are my guilty pleasure; especially in the summertime. This story was seamless and as always, easy to get through quickly. Unfortunately, I feel like I gain about 5 lbs. with each book. How can I not relate to a chubby, frizzy-headed RED HEAD. You can't go wrong with any of these novels as a nice alternative/break from the norm.

I am so tired of the Norman-Hannah-Michael triangle. Honestly I don't want her marry either of them. I wish she would put them both out of their misery and just move on already. As always loved all the food references. This one is a standout within the series.

This may have been the best entry in the series thus far. It felt like it thad the best plot and character development...

This book was a "delicious" read and I will definitely try out some of the recipes which are interwoven with the story. I think Joanne Fluke has outdone herself in this one. It is worth reading her books in order just to end with Key Lime Pie!

This one was just ok to me. I found Hannah quite annoying at times (especially with correcting grammer in her head) and putting herself in bad positions. It wasnt' bad enough for me to stop reading more about her but I am going to take a break.
