Without question, Speaker for the Dead and Xenocide collectively tell a far more interesting story than the first book of the Ender series. It is difficult to find another book or series where characters grow and evolve more convincingly and interestingly than the manner in which Ender Wiggin...

If you are a devoted fan of the Ender series, this book is really not that bad. However, it is nowhere close to as good as the original and *Speaker.*

*Xenocide* is, as some other people have mentioned, full of philosophical ramblings. Compared to the first two books in the series, it...

En lo personal, es el libro más oscuro de la saga de Ender. No es mi favorito, pero es imperdible para entender muchos sucesos.

An awesome follow-up to Ender's Game.

Yeah my love of this series isn't growing. I mean, it's good, no one can deny that, but it just hasn't swung back to the godlike status that was in the first book. Once more, read the little text blurbs at the begining of each chapter for some pretty nice philosophy.

Ender discovers the truth about the race he exterminated. In the course of that discovery, he discovers more about himself.

Not quite as good as "Speaker for the Dead," this book does continue the story and fill in some of the holes. Card, in the Afterword, says that this was originally part of a larger book which was split into "Xenocide" and "Children of the Mind."

Unlike the first and second books in this series, I found this one dragged on. I also found some of the characters really unlikable. I get it that this family is really messed up, but at times I didn't really want to have to live that out with them. I'm hoping the last book is better.

Not suggested reading even if you loved "Enders Game"

Really picks up the story from where "Speaker for the Dead" left off. Much faster paced and more interesting than Speaker.
