“Sorry, but I'm gonna have to chalk up most positive reviews of this book to weeaboo culture. It was pretty bad. Not creepy or thought-provoking at all, and the translation was pretty damn clunky. At several points throughout the book I wanted to highlight or copy down certain sentences and phrases as examples, but was too lazy, so you'll have to find them yourself. They weren't awful, they just sounded so clumsy and trite that it took me right out of the story. TWO THUMBS DOWN. Way down.”
