We have vamps! They do get better. Kyrian of Thrace is my kind of guy. Amanda and Nick are so funny. The scene where he picks her up from work was awesome. Vamps, hot romance and action. I'm glad I kept reading this series.

My first Kenyon book, and WOW !! Sexy, steamy, lusty, hunters and women in need. Kyrian is a(ripped, tall) tortured hunter, his soul gone taken after his heart was broken so that he could serve forever. Amamda an sheltered accountant with some hidden powers of her own also with a broken heart. They are brought together by an evil that forces them to unite and ties them in deeper ways. Both their lives are hunted by the evil not seen before. Ash (the head of the Hunters)gives of himself to help save Kyrian when it looks hopeless to save his life. Amanda and Kyrain must trust again and have faith.

Not the First of the Dark hunter Series, But is the First look into a Dark hunter. Here we meet Kyrian, my favorite dark hunter (can't count Acheron as a Dark hunter per say), who meets Amanda. Now see this isn’t a normal meeting of people out in the streets or in a coffee shop. Nope he gets a first look at her because he is hand cuffed to her. Need I say more on how that alone can bring humor? Dark-hunter series tend to have a trend where a sexy guy/ or girl has a Damage past (all the Dark hunters are rich, and hundreds of years old . . .well most, not to ruin anything that’s going to happen) and has trust issues come into contact with a woman/guy who also has some issue with themselves. They learn to get along and start to love each other, and it’s with that love and building trust that they get thru the dilemma of the novel. Kyrian and Amanda are just the first we read about and meet a bunch of characters that make a huge impact in the series. This is a great read and I love the series, By far my favorite series out right now.
