I really love this Dark Hunter Series...I love that you get a bit of the Greek Gods and the vamps too! Super sexy and WOW Kyrian...what I wouldn't do to be Amanda. :D

I know some people love this book but... I can't. I barely finished it. The thing is... It's everything at once. Vampires (couple different kinds), greek gods, and it's just totally random. Gods having coffee with humans? Another thing is that it was too repetitive. And then too much details of...

I liked the series The Black Dagger Brotherhood by J.R. Ward and this book is the beginning of a series similar to BDB I am excited to continue the journey through the Dark Hunter world

I would give this more than 5 starsif I could. Amanda and Kyrian of Thrace were alot of fun. The dark humor and sarcasm were very entertaining and made for some more complex characters. I am still enjoying the history lesson of the Greek Gods and the warriors and battles between Sparta and the Greeks. Loyalty, friendship and love play a huge role in this book. Nick the young squire was loyal to the end and very funny. Family can sometimes get in your way but it is out of love and you have to respect them for that.

    SPANISH

    ENGLISH
[...] Although this is the first book in the saga in which the main story is introduced, this is, the Dark Hunters plot, it isn’t just introductory at all, as usually happens with the fist books. We find many explanations, of course, but they’re not overwhelming or excessive. We have much romance, irony, drama and action. [...]

I started reading this earlier and I actually had this site open to put in my progress. I assumed I'd read a few pages then start on it again tomorrow and maybe finish sometime this week. How wrong was I.

4 hours later and I'm actually ridiculously sad the book is over.

First off, it reminded me of J R Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood. It has a LOT of similarities but it's different in the same ways. It's confusing to compare them but I do see them as two of the same kind of book.

Grump male vampire - Plain yet amazing young woman. Fighting, love and smoking hot scenes to make to re-read paragraphs more than once!

I really enjoyed the feel of the book. The chemistry between the two characters where brilliant. The whole thought out history and character development was awesome!

I didn't realise this was a second in the series though. A friend recc'd it to me when I was out shopping and this was the first one they had!

I'm now totally excited to go out and get the rest of them!
