I loved this book. Karen Armstrong does a brilliant job! I love the way she writes. Her sentences and vocabulary are highly developed and so is her understanding of many different faiths and their traditions. She does a briliiant job developing her arguments and providing different insights into the varying and diverse religious beliefs within the same faith. I would recommend this book to people that are seeking an objective and balance view of the many different faiths. Most of the...

In A History of God, Karen Armstrong provides an overview of the history of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, from their roots to the present.

Although I enjoyed this book, in some places it seems to be on unsteady ground. Armstrong’s criticisms seem to fall heavily on Christianity, and much more lightly on Islam.
