“Chris & Emily grew up together and then became lovers (although Emily really didn’t want to marry Chris). She became pregnant but didn’t tell anyone. Went for an abortion but changed her mind and committed suicide instead—just telling Chris and asking him to help her do it, which he did. A real wacky pair! The jail time and trial was very interesting though and I liked the parents perspective—seeing their kids as perfect.
