I agree with Dani, I found the last fifty pages an uphill struggle

This book is so depressing. I guess it comes with Jodi Picoult territory, but it did not leave me with a great feeling. The exploration of the two main character's feelings was excellently done though.

My friend is also reading this book and said she liked it very much. Your review makes it sound interesting and I think I would enjoy reading it also.

The Pact was the first Picoult book I read and I liked it alot. If you havent read Salem Falls yet you should, it was really good and it brings back Jordan and Selena and keeps their story going. I also was told that they pop back up in Nineteen Minutes but I havent gotten around to reading that for myself.

This book was one of her better ones, I really liked it. I think it might have made me cry, I don't remember all that much cause I read it so long ago.
I enjoyed it but I'm sorry, Emily really just didn't do it for me. She didn't seem real enough and she wasn't developed enough either, also the story of her rape didn't seem believable. It was actually kind of laughable.

Anyway, I started to think of the more serious parts and when Chris was out, I had happy tears! =)

I liked this book alot. I really enjoy Jodi Picoult's books, but does anyone else feel sort of like her books are repetitive and seem to follow similar storylines?]?

I've only read two books by Picoult--this one and "My Sister's Keeper." There is no doubt that Picoult knows how to write a novel that keeps you involved and turning the pages, but I think the issues she raises in "My Sister's Keeper" make it a far superior book to this one.
