“I've already seen the movie, so i pretty much know what's going down (although i'm on page 40) and i know its a very controversial and sensitive subject, so ill keep it brief. Basically, its an interesting topic and intriguing how all this stuff with the symbols and Da Vinci's paintings fit together. Brown says all the facts are at the front page and the rest is subjective, but the Catholic Church begs to differ. They have proved each "fact" wrong although its not my business what side you take. However, if you are strongly religious and are wary about this book, remember, your faith should be so strong, it doesn't matter what it says because that shouldn't change what you believe. On the entertaining side, i like it very much. New kind of idea. Just remember whats ficiton and what's not.”

“Terribly overrated and almost goofy. I don't say this for the notion of "perversion" of the jesus story or what have you; I say this because it was just poorly written and the puzzle/mystery aspect was forced into the plot, which made the entire book absurd. I'm surprised nobody else thinks this.”
