“Even with my reservations about the hype (everyone seemed to be reading it at the time) and even considering the aspects of conspiracy theorists (having read 'The Holy Blood & Holy Grail', from which this book is said to be plagiarised, a few years earlier) I found it an entertaining, fast-moving novel regardless of the aspects which were poorly written or where the plot was holey/holy. ”
