“Letts writes wonderfully. I started to read this and thought-Oh, I don't think this measures up to the first book. Well that quickly changed, before I was halfway through I was interwined with the characters and feeling their emotions. I love that her female characters are strong women, they are supportive of each other, compassionate, they are women you would love to be friends with. Before you know it the storyline draws you in and keeps you turning the page. I don't think I realized the turns in the story until I finished the last sentence. I must admit I was a bit surprised at the ending. I thought it would go another way.

“ Elizabeth's second book, which she considers better than the first. I have to admit I didn't like it as much as the first. This is more a character examination sort of book, but I felt that getting to know so many characters so intimately interfered with the plot and I found it distracting.”
