“This volume was MUCH better than "The Stuff of Dreams." It held a strong plot, strong characters, and interesting mythology. The author toned down a little on how beautiful/silent D was, so I was glad I didn't have to go through that again. Plus, Tae was an excellent female character. Not too whiny or annoying!
I was a little confused as to why one of the brothers disappeared throughout half of the book, but it was the only confusing aspect of the book, whereas in "The Stuff of Dreams," EVERYTHING was convoluted.
I would really like to see this D story in a movie! I think it's the strongest story behind "Demon Deathchase."”
“Great addition to the series, just like all the rest.”

And like always, the beautiful Yoshitaka Amano illustrations throughout really help the book.”
