  • Fiona Perks: A girl who becomes Polly's friend in middle school and goes on to be her flatmate.
  • Sebastian Leroy (Seb): Boy who is five years older than Polly. He is sullen and conceited and Polly is not quite sure of his intentions.
  • Laurel: A rich and extremely beautiful woman who is Thomas Lynn's ex-wife.
  • Morton Leroy: Laurel's current husband and Seb's father.
  • Ivy: Polly's paranoid moody mother.
  • Reg: Polly's father.
  • Samuel Rensky: Thomas Lynn's friend. He plays the violin. His nickname is Tan Hanivar.
