Can't believe I waited all these years to finally read this book. A friend lent me his copy as a 'must read' and I am grateful. This book is well written, and contains profound insights into human nature, politics, and governance - both societal and corporate. The only criticism is the radio address near the end - this broke up the story for far too many pages and was clearly a bit of a 'manifesto' thrown in where it fit best. Would have much preferred a short version of this talk (over 60 pages after you get past the 1000 page mark) along with the 'full text' of the address in an appendix. After the ending - I am sure most (at least the everyone except the socialist-leaning types who may force themselves to get through to the end of the book without changing their heart and their philosophy already) would go on to read it in enjoyment - post facto.
Great book - should be required high school and college reading wherever it isn't already.
