This book was a fascinating read and glimpse into the mind of a great, visionary author. Rand is a ruthless exposer of things as they really are, although...” see full review » see other reviews » |

After reading this, I can believe she didn't have a sense of humor. I can't imagine she was that smart--at least about human nature. The people who really think that Ayn Rand's view of Utopia would really work...” see full review » see other reviews » |
“I admire some things about Ayn Rand, like her unapologetic atheism, but I don't admire her rightwing views. That's not even the problem with this book though. The problems are many: It's too long, poorly written, and in-your-face.”

I really like this book i like how Dagney take things into her own hands and tries to save hers and her brothers company and change the world for the better. It kind of bugs me how all the politicians are so corrupt and run the government on favors. it also bugs me how some people think that money is evil.
Reading review #14. I enjoy the principles taught in this book about the corruptness of the world and how we must stand for whats right even if that means you will stand alone. and other such great principles.”
“I read this book for a class I was taking and HATED it.”

I honestly think Ayn Rand got religion more than she lead on and I tend to agree with her on some points. I must be honest, I would name one of my kids Hank because of this book and because of the love it possesses for the mind.”
“Monumental work on philosophy of virtue and creative energy in the world.”
