Synopsis / Summary: In this inter-planetary version of the lullaby Hush, Little Baby, a father alien sings to his son about all the space-related gifts he will receive. These include satellites, unhappy-looking astronauts, shooting stars and laser beams.
Critical Comments: This is a cute and creative take on an old familiar favorite. It’s the illustrations that really make this book: they’re full-page, brightly colored scenes of father-son love between six-armed aliens. Cute and amusing at the same time, they’re sure to make young children laugh as they sing along to their favorite new lullaby. (My favorite was the Milky Way full of sippy cups).
