This was the first book on Wicca that I read-and I'm so glad I did...It gave someone with zero knowledge on the subject but a deep desire to learn the basis that I needed to take my studies further. It gives you the basics without overloading you on too much information which can tend to be overwhelming and even frightening for beginners.

This was the first book on Wicca/Paganism I read and I knew it was a load just by reading the table of contents. It's like cotton candy for the eyes. You get a sugar high from reading it. Thank goodness I had the mind to keep searching! It's not often that I tell people not to waste their time on a book but please don't waste your time! Not even good for beginners. Check out "Witch Crafting" by Phyllis Curott and/or "the Spiral Dance" by Starhawk.
