One of my fav. Jane Green books, and it inspired me to set up a cafe/bookshop one day!

Wasn't overly impressed but it was a good summer read after I moved to Potsdam.

Great read -- love all Green's books and this is no exception. Lovely story of college friends who remain close despite many changes in their lives.

I'm downgrading this to a merely "like." It seems a bit dated now; but I still like the bakery bookshop combo!

I bought this book because the heroine's dream is my dream. The fact that she does it in North London and has a friend to run the cafe part -- well, that just makes it better. The story is OK. I wish the author had spent more time developing the returning college friend part and had not lapsed into predictable gay friend gets AIDS plot.

One of my favorite Jane Green books, very riveting and compelling while looking at serious issues and relationships.
