  The characters were one-dimensional and uninteresting. Jack Stein, as an investigator, is lazy and relies almost completely on his psychic dreams to give him sporadic information (to be fair, Jack realizes this is a problem at the end of the book, but that doesn't excuse it).
  
  The plot was thin, pathetic and parts of it weren't satisfactorily resolved and, in fact, seemed to have been completely forgotten.
  
  I had purchased Metal Sky as well, but I ended up throwing it unread along with Wyrmhole to the nearby used book store. God help the brain cells of the next person to pick them up.”
