Every fan of westerns, as well as anyone exploring the genre, should read "Shane" and "Monte Walsh". If you have not read them you will kick yourself for waiting.

    HOw about Monte Walsh. I loved that book. When I watched the movie I could barely stay with it until the end. I like the movie Shane though movies usually aren't ever as good as a book.
