  “this was a fair book. not as good as the others in this particular series by Lois McMaster Bujold... but it's interesting to read about the possibilities of being inhabited by an animal spirit...”

  “Fantasy/mystery mixes feel fresh and interesting, so it's a shame Bujold doesn't quite manage to pull it off. Still a good read, if not up to par with her Vorkosigan novels.”
