I really enjoyed getting to experience a different type of story telling. Appalachian literature is not a very popular type of work, but I highly enjoyed this novel. I read it in my Inquiry into Appalachia class and it as a whole enjoyed it.

Paula, I haven't read this, but will. Lee Smith wrote the book we read for our club this month, On Agate Hill, and I enjoyed it tremendously.
