A gaijin's perspective from Tokyo in the days leading up to the bombing of Pearl Harbor. Eye-opening; stereotype-bashing characters on all sides, from the ex-pat community to geisha and Japanese businessmen; very entertaining.

My only complaint is that some parts, such as chase scenes, seemed so made for the big screen that I was distracted by imagining who would play whom. In others, such as the Mad Hatter-like scene in the Willow House, I can't wait to see it acted.
