The Price of Passion is my absolute favorite Evelyn Palfrey book. I could talk about it for hours: about the storyline, the characters, and the double meaning of the title. My heart went out to Vivian, the main character, when her husband came home and dropped his out-of-wedlock "love child". The sleazoid then proceeds to ignore his child and totally leave the child's care to Vivian.
