I was really disappointed with this book. I thought I would enjoy it but the author's style did not agree with my personal taste. I skipped ahead and skimmed through most of the book hoping it would get better but it never did. In the end I gave up and returned it to the library. Reading this made me feel like I was watching a movie with really bad acting.

What fun! Totally entertaining and engrossing, with an intelligent and delightful heroine. I quite literally couldn't put it down, and I NEVER read historical fiction, mysteries or thrillers, EVER! Really and truly a tasty book-treat. Looking forward to the next installment!
