“A modern account of Europeans in Kenya. A good companion to the mysteries by Karen Mc Quillan and Dan Eldon's story. I liked it even though it's another story about a self-absorbed young woman. Lots of gossipy details. Ultimately it's a little sad. ”

Reminds me of how life is not perfect and we are quite often lost trying to figure out where we fit in. It also made me think about the beauty that is Africa and made me consider a visit someday, although the bugs would probably freek me out. The story in the book is interesting.”

It really painted a picture for me, and I, too would love to spend some time there with the characters in this book.”

The main characters are spoiled white people living in Nairobi, Kenya (pronounced with a long e), but Ms. Marciano evokes a time and place that makes you wish that you lived there and were actually friends with these people. It’s a modern day Out of Africa— the movie version— without people having to actually work for a living or run a coffee plantation. ”
