at the cost of never being able to swim again! but with the help of his ragtag crew,
he is still determined to become the best pirate who ever lived.

  • Monkey D Luffy: Luffy is an idiot, no question. this is his main characteristic .He is also very strong, brave, and boundlessly optimistic. One of luffy's main traits and the one most relied upon for comic releif, is his love of meat. he loves food in general, but his favorite is meat. Luffy believes that no matter what situation he is in,whether he can't think of what to do next, or is feeling weak from blood loss, Meat will make it better.
  • Roronoa Zolo: Zolo is a very determined person. Convinced that his destiny is to be the world's greates swordsman,he has resigned himself to never lose to another swordsman. Zolo will never put up with taunting by anybody. when he wants to insult somebody, his zingers are hurled in a very calm, nonchalant way, making sure his victim believes he is stating fact. Zolo was the first member of luffy's crew, and himself is about two years older than luffy.Many times when Luffy is acting un-captainlike, being too loose with his crew and such,Zolo will step in and force him to lay down the law, which is ironic because this itself shows that Zolo is really in charge on the ship.
