Although this book was my longestand hardest read yet this year. I will still recommend this bookto others. "Cup" as she like be known to her friends is a drug addict turned "ladY' who was living a life of self-destruction after the crucial death of her mother and then the disovery that her father was not her real dad. The story then goes like a spiraling tornado when "cup" and her brother being removed from the only family she loved and known to her "real" dad and foster care. This is when she picks up her first "trick" and rum and coke at the age of thirteen. Tear jerking, hard to read and put down at times, the reader will be inspired to live and walk the footsteps to Cupcake Brown achievements and battle with addiction and herself.
